1.5" Wilbaum Brass Follower

Wilbaum Followers are made from solid spun brass, carefully handcrafted piece by piece.

This style of follower will perform better than other styles on the market. They are not as heavy as some and have a larger liquid cup area for optimal candle performance. Each follower is finished in high polish brass, then lacquer coated, providing many years of service.

For situations or conditions where drafts occur, especially during processionals, Will & Baumer® has followers with glass shields.

These hand-made followers are designed to protect the living flame and feature additional air flow venting underneath the glass for the best performance of the candles while burning. Available in the most common sizes for Altar candles and processional candles.

Care Instructions:

Cleaning & Polishing

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cotton or microfiber cloth.
• For deeper cleaning, use mild soap with lukewarm water; rinse and dry immediately.
• Occasionally polish with a soft silver-polishing cloth to restore shine.
• Never use abrasive pads, harsh polishes, or chemical cleaners.

Tarnish Prevention

• Tarnish is natural over time; minimize it by storing items in an anti-tarnish cloth or airtight box.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to air, humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Do not leave liquids, food, or acidic substances on the surface for long.

Storage & Handling

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Wrap or place items separately to avoid scratches.
• Handle with clean, dry hands to prevent stains or dullness.
• For functional pieces (like trays or bowls), line with fabric or use liners to protect the plating.
